Yoga and Mindfulness for Children

Jeni Howland has been teaching children's yoga classes for over two years, working in schools, after-school clubs and privately at homes.

Yoga is a great way to build confidence and awareness through creative engagement with the body and breath.

Regular Yoga can help to safely develop strength, mobility, coordination and physical awareness at any stage of childhood.

Yoga is more than a physical exercise class: through Yoga, children can learn to concentrate better, to relax and to reduce anxiety by regulating breath and emotions.

It is also proven to be greatly beneficial for children with specific physical or mental individuality.

Having observed Jeni teaching yoga to children aged 8-13, I can conclude that her knowledge and practice is imparted exceptionally. The environment in which Jeni facilitates is calm yet focussed, which enables students to discover an approach that is useful for their mind and body.
