Home Practice - keep moving to keep well

During uncertain and somewhat confusing times, I’d like to share with you a guide line for a basic practice that you can do at home every day.

We all know the basic principles of keeping ourselves and our loved ones healthy and well so I'm not talk here about handwashing and sanitising and safe distances etc. But I would like to remind you of the benefits to your health and your immune system of doing mindful movement and breathing practices.

What is Somatic Movement

  • Build greater awareness of your body and it's capabilities and limitations

  • Release tension from painful muscles and joints

  • Learn how to prevent painful and lasting tension 

  • Practice mindfulness - find calmness and compassion in the body and mind

During my Teacher Training course, my Yoga Teacher, Randall O'Leary of Jungle Yoga said "Make Space for Magic" and this has been my motto ever since.
